We are passionate outdoor-athletes, so high-quality outdoor products are our passion!
We are a distribution agency for outdoor brands, established in 1985 and based in south and central Germany. As of now, we provide outdoor brands and sports retailers with complete solutions.
We exclusively distribute and market products of the highest quality. We provide our clients with an outstanding know-how and we still test all products ourselves.
We are active in multiple outdoor sports communities, such as skiing, freeriding, mountain-biking, climbing and windsurfing. We also feature our own mountain and ski school, in which we apply and market all our products. So we’re always kept up-to-date, recognise new trends immediately and are part of an extensive network in the outdoor branch.

CHARLY HETZ
Charly is the owner of the ROCK 'nd SNOW Outdoor Sports Agency.
Already as a child, he developed a deep connection with the mountains and mountain climbing, which was becoming more popular at the time. While studying for his degree in sports science, he completed his training as a certified ski instructor in 1978 and one year later as a certified mountain guide.
It became clearer and clearer to him over time how indispensable high-quality products are, especially for mountain sports, and he always loved wearing the most stylish outfits. So the idea was born of opening a distribution agency and sharing his passion with brand companies and sports retailers. First connections were made to Edelrid and Cascade Designs at the ISPO, which at that time was held at the Theresienwiese in Munich, and shortly thereafter he was invited to Sweden to the Hestra headquarters - the beginning of a success story!
Few in his field have as much experience as Charly, and he enjoys passing on this experience every day to our clients.
ANDY HETZ
Andy grew up in the ROCK 'nd SNOW Outdoor Sports Agency. He developed early on his excitement for skiing. At the young age of 16, he completed his ski-instructor training and has been active as a guide in our Alpine School since then. It quickly became clear to him that he wanted to be closer to the mountains so that he could spend as much time as possible skiing and mountain-biking. So he chose the University of Innsbruck to study marketing and sales.
In the meantime, he attained a wide range of expertise through internships at MSR in Seattle and a PR agency and through the administration of the ROCK 'nd SNOW Alpine School. After completing his master's degree in strategic management (the topic of his master's thesis was brands in the freeride community!), he joined the outdoor agency.
Andy combines his passion for outdoor sports with an outstanding know-how of outdoor products and marketing and sales. His excellent english language skills allow for smooth communication with international brands.
